Description
Fluke 712B Temperature Calibrator Repair
The Fluke 712B is an RTD temperature calibrator that sources and measures RTDs (and reads the 4–20 mA loop) to calibrate RTD temperature transmitters and instruments. Its accuracy depends on the RTD/thermocouple source/measure circuits, the reference-junction compensation, and the references, which is where service and calibration focus.
FlukeServiceCenter.com repairs and calibrates the Fluke 712B for temperature-calibration labs, process engineers, and instrument technicians.
Common Fluke 712B problems we fix
- Reference-junction recalibration — the cold-junction compensation reading wrong, recalibrated against standards.
- Source-circuit repair — the RTD or thermocouple source not generating correctly, repaired.
- Measurement drift — the temperature measurement out of spec, recalibrated.
- Display or terminal faults — repaired.
- Battery faults.
FAQs
My 712B reads or sources temperature wrong — fixable? Yes. Source/measure and reference faults are repairable, then every function is recalibrated so it calibrates accurately, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Are the functions verified? Yes — checked against our temperature standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or request service.
