Description
Fluke 725Ex Process Calibrator Repair
The Fluke 725Ex is an intrinsically safe multifunction process calibrator — an ATEX/IECEx-rated version of the 725 that sources and measures the full range of process signals (mA, volts, RTD, thermocouple, frequency, ohms, and pressure via a module) for calibration in hazardous (explosive-atmosphere) areas. Its accuracy depends on the multiple source/measure circuits, the references, and the module interface, which is where service and calibration focus.
FlukeServiceCenter.com repairs and calibrates the Fluke 725Ex for process-instrument technicians in oil-and-gas, chemical, and hazardous-area plants.
Common Fluke 725Ex problems we fix
- Output-accuracy drift — mA, RTD, thermocouple, voltage, or frequency drifting, recalibrated against standards.
- Thermocouple-simulation errors — the TC source/measure out of spec, recalibrated.
- A function dead — an input/output path failed, often after a miswire, repaired.
- Display, terminal, or battery faults — repaired.
- Module-interface faults — a pressure module not reading, repaired.
Note: intrinsic-safety (Ex) certification integrity depends on factory-approved parts and procedures; tell us if you require the unit returned to its Ex rating and we’ll advise on what that involves.
FAQs
A function on my 725Ex reads or sources wrong — fixable? Yes. Source/measure faults are repairable, then every function is recalibrated so it calibrates your process instruments accurately, with a NIST-traceable certificate.
Are all functions verified? Yes — each source/measure function is checked against our standards.
Every repair includes NIST-traceable calibration and a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. Email us or request service.
